The EU MainstreamBIO Project invites you to participate in a series of cross-regional workshops that aim to share experiences in implementing bio-based solutions and highlight best practices from different regions.

Location: Sofia, Bulgaria
Topic: Carbon farming
More information about the workshop: Conducted and coordinated by Agricultural University of Plovdiv, hosted at the farm of Victor Asenova (2018 Young Farmer competition winner). Focus: carbon farming, carbon offsets, soil carbon sequestration, and bio-based technologies to reduce carbon footprint in greenhouse production.

Location: Lelystad, The Netherlands
Topic: Utilization of biomasses from agriculture
More information about the workshop: Conducted and coordinated by Wageningen Food and Bio-Based Research at the Application Centre for Renewable Resources. Focus: low-value grass use for composting, biogas/fibre production, manure product valorisation, arable side streams, and algae cultivation. Includes visits to pilot and demonstration facilities.
