ROBIN Project Meeting

“ROBIN aims to empower Europe’s regions to adapt their governance models and structures in ways that accelerate the achievement of their circular bioeconomy targets while promoting social innovation and accounting for different territorial contexts.”

ROBIN’s 2nd Project Meeting was recently held in Seville, Spain. Hosted expertly by project partners the Technological Corporation of Andalusia and Junta de Andalucía at the Agricultural Ministry of Junta de Andalucía. The ROBIN project offers a unique collaboration between leading bioeconomy research institutes and regional authorities to empower Europe’s regions to adapt their governance models and structures and this meeting offered partners the opportunity to review progress to date and plan for the next phase of the ROBIN. Partners were introduced to the project’s advisory board who outlined the skills and expertise that each brought to ROBIN, followed by discussions about progress and the unique insights gained from research carried out to date. Partners from regional authorities presented on each of the pilot regions and the meeting concluded with looking forward to the next phase of ROBIN and its execution.
