Alice Hand graduated from Tralee IT (MTU) in 2019 with a BSc honours degree in Wildlife Biology. Through the degree, Alice gained skills in GIS, habitat mapping and species identification.
Through both her undergraduate degree and volunteer work, she has been able to gain experience in different ecological surveying and animal care work. Alice’s final year project was based on determining the impact of agricultural lime on the invertebrate communities of grasslands.
Through her project she gained an interest in researching sustainability in agriculture and GIS mapping.
