Dr Rajeev Ravindran
Dr Rajeev Ravindran is Post Doctoral Scientist with the Circular Bioeconomy Research Group at Shannon Applied Biotechnology Centre (Shannon ABC) and Nutramara.
He completed his PhD in Food Science at the Technological University of Dublin. He is currently working on the extraction of beta glucan from various Irish seaweed species, its purification and bioactivity testing. Previously, he was a Research Project Manager with the Circular Bioeconomy Research Group in Shannon ABC at MTU.
Rajeev has considerable expertise in microbiology, analytical chemistry, protein purification and extraction of biomolecules from plant and marine sources.
