Eve Savage

Eve Savage is the Educational Designer for the IKC3 project.

Ireland’s Knowledge Centre for Climate Carbon and Community Action(IKC3) consortium is led by MTU in collaboration with Trinity College Dublin and University College Dublin and involves an extensive national and EU side network of partners including the European Institute of Innovation and Technology Climate-KIC, Sustainable Innovations Spain, European HEIs, companies, enterprise clusters, local government, civic and social innovators. The delivery of sustainable, circular, low-carbon economy, which responds to the climate emergency is a national and global priority. IKC3 is undertaking radical approach deploying a state of the art pedagogies, a quintuple helix model of innovation for education via digitized learning pathways, stackable micro-courses, collaborative learning environments, deep demonstrations and climate leadership programmes. 

Eve has previously held the post as the lead for knowledge sharing and communication activities for European projects including BBI JU funded BIObec and INGREEN in which Munster Technological University is a consortium partner.

Situated within the Circular Bioeconomy Research Group at the MTU Kerry Campus and with a background in business, innovation and enterprise Eve has a wealth of experience in the creation, delivery, and promotion of a variety of educational and outreach programmes in the areas of STEM, enterprise development and the circular economy.

She has pursued postgraduate qualifications in Adult & Further Education, Creativity Innovation & Entrepreneurship and has designed interactive knowledge exchange programmes and outreach activities incorporating circular economy theory, bioeconomy education and design thinking methodologies including BIOBODY, HABERDASHERY, What’s Bioeconomy & CIRC-ENG for third level, second level and primary education settings.
